This delicacy is very popular in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. The combination of coconut milk and hot chili creates a creamy and spicy flavorful sauce that blends well with the tender meat and vegetables.
INGREDIENTS:
Pork
Coconut milk
Hot chillies red or long green
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Shrimp paste
Fish sauce
Salt
Cooking oil
Water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut the pork meat in small thin rectangular shape. Then saute it in chop ginger, garlic, onion, and shrimp paste. Add salt, fish sauce, coconut milk, and water. Bring to boil until the meat gets tender.
2. Now add the cut long green chillies or add the red ones depending on the spicy level you prefer.
3. Simmer until the sauce becomes thick. Serve and enjoy!
