CRABS IN COCONUT MILK WITH VEGGIES

Experience the oozing flavor of coconut milk into the deepest cracks of the shellfish. A creamy combination of natural and healthy ingredients in a delicious meal.

INGREDIENTS:
Crabs
Coconut milk
String beans
Squash
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Green long chili
Salt
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Clean and boil the crabs then cut in halves.
2. Saute crabs in chopped ginger, garlic, and onion.
3. Add salt then pour the coconut milk. Bring to boil.
4. Put the cut string beans and squash to cook.
5. Simmer for few minutes then serve.

TOCILOG

A combination of sweet tocino with tomato and egg in a fried rice completes an energizing breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:
Tocino
Egg
garlic
Plain rice
Tomato
Cooking oil
Water

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut the tocino in small pieces then boil it for few minutes before frying.
2. Turn upside down to cook it evenly. Set aside.
3. Fry the egg. Cut the tomato then set aside.
4. Use the oil from the tocino in cooking the garlic rice to get its flavor. Put one egg then mix it nonstop until cooked.
5. Arrange on a platter then serve.

ARROZ CALDO

When a loved one is sick, this thick porridge of rice is often served as a meal on its own. Its variation depends upon the side dishes used as flavors to make it more delicious.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken
Rice
Ginger
Garlic
Water
Fish sauce
Salt
Ground black pepper
Hard boiled egg
Scallion
Cooking oil
Calamansi

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute chicken in chopped ginger and garlic.
2. Add ground black pepper, and salt to taste. Bring to boil.
3. Put rice and water. Let it boil in low fire until rice becomes soft, and meat becomes tender.
4. When it’s ready, put it in a bowl then add fried garlic, hard boiled egg, and chopped scallion on top. Calamansi is optional. Serve hot and enjoy!

CHICKEN FILLET WITH RICE AND VEGGIES

A complete meal in a platter that saves time during breaks. No need to add anything. Just eat and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken fillet
Shrimp
Garlic
Tomato
Onion
Eggplant
String beans
Ampalaya
Salt
Fish sauce
Flour
Egg
Rice
Cooking oil
Water
Ketsup

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the chicken fillet with fish sauce and water until tender.
2. Drain then set aside the meat stock.
3. Beat one egg then pour it to the meat then cover it evenly with flour.
4. Fry it then set aside.
5. Saute shrimps in chopped garlic, onion, and tomato. Add salt with the meat stock.
6. Put the cut string beans, eggplant, and ampalaya. Simmer for few minutes until cooked.
7. Arrange the fried chicken fillet with ketsup drops, rice, and veggies on a plate then serve.

LUNCHEONSILOG

Silog dishes are always fried and oily. Adding tomato will serve as a neutralizer.  An early morning boost with a cup of coffee is a good start for a day’s work.

INGREDIENTS:
Plain rice
Garlic
Egg
Luncheon meat
Tomato
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute plain rice in chopped garlic to become fried rice.
2. Fry egg and the sliced luncheon meat.
3. Cut the tomato. Serve.
