SHRIMP SALAD

Enjoy a twisted combination of healthy pleasures in a platter. The flavorful shrimp is neutralized when combined with fresh vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:
Shrimp
Egg
Flour
Milk
Water
Salt
Cooking oil
Chinese cabbage
Cucumber
Carrots
Thousand Island
Quickmelt cheese
Ketsup
Mustard sauce
Mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine scrumbled egg with the shrimp.
2. Mix powdered milk with flour and water. Add salt.
3. Pour the mixture to the shrimp then fry.
4. For the salad, cut the carrot and cucumber in thin slices with the chinese cabbage. Arrange on a plate. Now mix the Thousand Island, mayonnaise, quickmelt cheese, ketsup, and mustard sauce as the salad dressing.
5. Set in a platter with the breaded shrimps, then serve.

SQUID BALL, KIKIAM, FISH BALL, CHICKEN BALL, HOTDOG

These are common pinoy street foods mostly found in populated areas all over the country. Others call it food for the masses. But now, these food on sticks can also be seen in big establishments.

INGREDIENTS:
Squid ball
Kikiam
Fish ball
Chicken ball
Hotdog
Water
Sweet chili sauce
Ketsup
Flour
Hot chili
Soy sauce
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Fry the Squid ball, Kikiam, Hotdog, Fish ball, and Chicken ball.
2. Mix and boil water with flour, sweet chili sauce, ketsup, garlic and soy sauce.
3. Simmer for few minutes then serve as dip. Add hot chili for more spice if needed.

SQUID ADOBO

Squid Adobo has a unique flavor
because of its ink. The relish that comes naturally from the squid itself blends well with the spices. The vinegar that neutralizes its briny taste really comes along.

INGREDIENTS:
Native squids
garlic
onion
Tomato
Ground black pepper
Salt
Vinegar
Cooking oil
Long green chili

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix and boil squids with garlic, ground black pepper, salt, and vinegar.
2. Taste if the squids are already cooked and tender.
3. Saute garlic, onion, and tomato on another pan.
4. Add the sauteed spices with the cooked squids.
5. Let it simmer for few minutes. Serve.

CHILI CRAB

Brace yourself, the spicy crab is here! Enjoy a different style of sweetness and spice in this hot seafood delight.

INGREDIENTS:
Crab
Chopped shrimp meat
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Egg
Lemon grass
Tomato ketchup
Pork and beans
Onion leaves
Red chili
Water
Chicken stock
Salt
Soy sauce
Oyster
Corn starch
Black pepper
Sugar
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Clean and boil the crab. Crack and break, then set aside. Saute chopped shrimp meat in ginger, garlic, onion, red chili and lemon grass.
2. Pour the tomato ketchup and chicken stock. Add pork and beans.
3. Add salt, black pepper, water, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Put the crab and boil for minute to absorb the flavor. Remove the crab. 4. Mix well the dissolved corn starch and egg with the chili sauce in low fire.
5. Put back the crab with the chili sauce. Serve and enjoy.

MUNG BEAN SOUP

Some people call it a poor man’s dish. Why? Maybe because it is cheaper compare to many ingredients. In reality, this food is actually a power house of nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin B, protein, and manganese.

INGREDIENTS:
Mung beans seeds
Shrimp
Garlic
Onion
Tomato
Salt
Celery
Kangkong
Long green chili
Chicharon
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Soak the beans overnight. Boil in water to soften then crush to melt. Set aside.
2. Sauté shrimp in chopped garlic, onion, and tomato.  
3. Add salt and celery. 
4. Add the sauteed ingredients to the crushed beans.  add water for the soup. Include the long green chili to taste. Include kangkong.
5. Simmer for minute then add cracked chicharon before turning off the fire. Serve.
