SAUTEED RADISH WITH SHRIMP

In the Philippines, people love sautéed foods. You can actually create just about any type of vegetable and meat dish using this process. Sautéed radish is usually with shrimp or pork. This is simple, quick, and easy to cook.

INGREDIENTS:
Radish
Shrimp
Garlic
Onion
Tomato
Salt
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute peeled shrimps in chopped garlic, onion, and tomato. Add water and salt.
2. Put the thin sliced radish. Simmer for few minutes then serve.

MILKFISH STEAK

The main ingredients in this dish are just similar to the pork bistek. Soy sauce, calamansi, and onion.

INGREDIENTS:
Milkfish
Calamansi
Soy sauce
Salt
Onion
Cooking oil
Water


DIRECTIONS:

1. Fry milkfisk then set aside.
2. Mix water, soy sauce, and calamansi juice in a cup.
3. Saute the fried milkfish in onion . Pour the mixture then simmer for few minutes, then serve.

SISIG LIEMPO

Sizzling Sisig is one of the most popular native delicacies in the province of Pampanga. Normally, they use the pig’s face. Just serve it hot and spicy,  and will absolutely excite your day!

INGREDIENTS:
Pork belly
chicken liver
onion, minced
soy sauce
ground black pepper
ginger, minced
chili
Salt
calamansi
butter
water

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the pork belly in a pan with salt and pepper. Simmer until tender.
2. Remove the boiled meat. Drain excess water then grill or fry the pork belly, and chop into small pieces.
3. In a pan, melt butter then add chopped onions and small amount of ginger, cook for few minutes.
4. Put chicken liver. When cooked, take it off the pan then chop into fine pieces.
5. Mix chopped chicken liver and pork belly then cook more for a minute to blend well.Add soy sauce to taste.
6. Mix and serve hot with chopped onion, calamansi, and hot chili.

AMPALAYA WITH SHRIMP AND EGG

Enjoy another style of dish that neutralizes the bitter taste of ampalaya. The flavorful blend of shrimp, eggs, and spices will make you forget that you are actually eating a bitter vegetable.

INGREDIENTS:
Ampalaya
Shrimps
Eggs
Garlic
Onion
Tomato
Salt
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Soak the thin sliced ampalaya with salt and water for few minutes.
2. Saute peeled shrimps in garlic, onion, and tomato.
3. Drain and wash the soaked ampalaya.
4. Combine it with the sauteed shrimps. Simmer for a minute.
5. Pour the scrumbled eggs. Stir well then serve.

FLOWER CRABS IN MISUA SOUP

Taste the blend of this delicate misua noodles with the spices of garlic, onion, and ginger in this crab soup dish. To bring out more flavor, add chili and leaves.

INGREDIENTS:
Flower crabs
Misua noodles
Salt
Galic
Onion
Ginger
Green long chili and leaves
Water
Cooking oil
Fish sauce

DIRECTIONS:
1. Clean then boil the flower crabs until cooked.
2. Saute the boiled flower crabs in  ginger, garlic, and onion.
3. Add salt, water, and fish sauce. Bring to boil then include the green long chili and leaves.
4. Simmer for few minutes then put the misua noodles. Stir well for a minute then serve.
