SIZZLING GAMBAS

This is absolutely a shrimp delight! An appetizer or a main dish, soft spicy to fiery taste.

INGREDIENTS:
Shrimp peeled and deveined
Calamansi juice
Oyster sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Garlic
Onion
Salt
Ground pepper
Tomato ketchup
Sweet chili sauce
Bell pepper
Long Green chili
Cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS:
1. Clean and deveined shrimp.
2. Saute shrimp in garlic and onion. Pour a little bit of Worcestershire and oyster sauce.Add salt and pepper.
3. Pour and mix tomato ketchup and sweet chili sauce. Simmer for a minute.
4. Put the sliced bell pepper.
5. Include the cayenne pepper and green chili. Mix, simmer then serve.

PORK CALDERETA

Experience the hot and spicy goodness of this pinoy favorite dish. The rich sauce of the meat is enough to showcase the herbs and spices used to its flavorful taste.

INGREDIENTS:
Pork
Vinegar
Soy sauce
Liver spread
Garlic
Onion
Pepper
Water
Fish sauce
Bell pepper
Potatoes
Carrots
Laurel leaves
Tomato sauce
Pork and beans
Sugar
Red chili

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the pork in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, pepper, laurel leaves, and fish sauce.
2. Bring to boil then simmer until tender. Add water if needed.
3. Saute the tender meat in garlic and onion, with the cut potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper.
4. Put the pork and beans with the tomato sauce, liver spread, and red chili. Sugar is optional.
5. Simmer for few minutes then serve.

MEATBALLS WITH PATOLA AND MISUA SOUP

A great tasting soup on a cold or hot day, rich in protein and fiber, a real family food to enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
Ground pork
Flour
Egg
Onion
Patola
Misua
Pepper
Salt
Fish sauce
Garlic
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix the ground meat with flour, scrumbled egg, salt, pepper, and chopped onion.
2. Separate into small round portion. Fry then set aside.
3. Saute meatballs in garlic and onion.
4. Add water, salt, and fish sauce. Bring to boil then simmer.
5. Include the cut patola, then put the misua noodles.
6. Mix well then serve.

LUMPIANG SHANGHAI (FILIPINO SPRING ROLLS)

Although Chinese in origin, this food became a traditional party picks among Filipino gatherings. Ground pork, chicken, or beef, as the main ingredients, but onion and celery serve as the taste boosters.

INGREDIENTS:
Ground pork
Celery
Onion
Carrots
Pepper
Cooking oil
Salt
Egg
Flour
Lumpia wrapper
Sweet chili sauce
Ketsup

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the ground meat. Simmer until cooked.
2. Chop the celery, carrots, and onions.
3. Mix the ground meat with the vegetables.
4. Add salt, flour, pepper, and scrumbled egg.
5. Mix well.
6. Get a small portion of the mixed ingredients then put it on a wrapper, roll and seal.
7. Fry then serve with the mixture of sweet chili sauce and ketsup as dip.

CHICKEN IN LEMON GRASS AND CORN

Come home early,  then warm your heart with this stress removing soup.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken
Corn
Lemon grass
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Salt
Water
Fish sauce
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute chicken in ginger and garlic.
2. Add fish sauce, and salt. Simmer for few minutes.
3. Put the corn and lemon grass. Add water then bring to boil.
4. Simmer until the meat and corn becomes tender then serve.

Bottle Gourd is also a good twist in case you like more vegetables in the soup.
