MARINATED CRUNCHY SALMON

Crunchy and tasty salmon fish combined with chopped tomatoes and onion.

INGREDIENTS:
Salmon
Soy sauce
Calamansi
Oyster sauce
Ground black pepper
Cooking oil

Directions:
1. Marinate the salmon overnight in soy sauce, calamsi, oyster sauce, and ground black pepper.
2. Fry then serve with chopped tomatoes and onion.

SMOKED FISH

Enjoy this simple and easy to prepare Pinoy food. Fried or roasted, just dip it in vinegar, or match with fresh tomatoes, surely a cup of rice will not be enough.

INGREDIENTS:
Smoked fish
Cooking oil
Vinegar or fresh cut tomatoes
Salt

DIRECTIONS:
1. Fry the smoked fish.
2. Use vinegar as dip… Or…
3. Cut fresh tomatoes as partner, then serve.

CHICKEN VEGGIES

Try a different combination of vegetables commonly seen in Chopseuy and Pinakbet dishes.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken
Garlic
Onion
Salt
Fish sauce
Water
Cooking oil
Tomato sauce
String beans
Sayote
Carrots
Bell pepper

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute chicken in garlic and onion.
2. Add water, fish sauce, and salt. Bring to boil until meat is tender.
3. Put all the cut veggies. Mix and simmer for few minutes to cook.
4. Pour the tomato sauce. Stir for few minutes then serve.

PORK TORTA

Ground pork in bell pepper, carrots, and potato cuts. Same main ingredients in torta dishes like shrimp and tuna.

INGREDIENTS:
Ground pork
Potato
Carrots
Garlic
Onion
Bell pepper
Raisins
Green peas
Eggs
Salt
Cooking oil
Water

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute ground pork in chopped garlic and onion.
2. Stir well then add salt and water.
3. Bring to boil then maintain low fire until the meat is tender.
4. Add drops of soy sauce and calamansi juice to taste.
5. Now add the potato and carrot chunks with the bell pepper, green peas, and raisins.
6. Mix well, simmer for few minutes then turn off the fire.
7. Fry beaten eggs then put the torta on top.
8. Get a plate, turn the torta upside down, then serve.
