FRIED CHICKEN

This is a common favorite in many gatherings. The children’s common order when they eat out or at home. Combine it with pasta, or any vegetable dish, it will never be out of demand. One of the most popular fried at all times, fried chicken. Cook it with glamorous ingredients, or use the basic flavorings, we always enjoy it in many occasions.


INGREDIENTS:
Chicken
Egg
Worcestershire sauce
Salt
Water
Flour
Chicken breading
Cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the chicken in water, salt, and worcestershire sauce until tender.
2. Coat the chicken in egg, flour, and chicken breading. Cover it well and evenly.
3. Fry until the coating is golden brown and crunchy. Serve and enjoy.

MILKFISH SINIGANG WITH SHRIMP

Rainy days keep us stay at home a lot, while summer season excites us to go outside and do some adventures. A regular working person has a limited time to enjoy both. But by preparing a home cooked meal, coming home is always a warm moment to relax and get excited.

INGREDIENTS:
Milkfish
Shrimp
Salt
Water
Ginger
Onion
Tomato
Eggplant
Green long chili
Kangkong
Tamarind juice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil tamarind fruit in water. Filter the juice. Set aside.
2. Boil gabi in water. Put the shrimp and fish.
3. Add salt, green long chili, ginger, onion, and tomato.
4. Include eggplant and kangkong. Keep it boiling then pour the tamarind juice. Simmer for a minute then serve.

 

CHICKEN IN LEMON GRASS

Before any new version or twist in a certain dish, we always look back to the basic.  The original ingredients always bring us to remember the same taste we used to love.  A nostalgia feeling, home cooking, a mother, a family which is our home.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken
Lemon grass
Ginger
Garlic
Fish sauce
Salt
Water
Cooking oil

DIRECTION:
1. Sauté chicken in ginger and garlic. Add salt and fish sauce.
2. Put the lemon grass then add water.
3. Bring to boil until chicken is cooked and tender. Simmer for few minutes. Serve.

SHRIMP SINIGANG

When pork and chicken have public health issues, seafood is on the run to rescue.

INGREDIENTS:
Shrimp
Tamarind fruit
Ginger
Onion
Tomato
Banana heart
String beans
Eggplant
Okra
Kangkong
Water
Salt

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil gabi in water. Put the shrimp. Add salt and green chili. Boil the tamarind fruit then filter to get the juice. Set aside.
2. Include ginger, onion, tomato. Boil then the banana heart, string beans, eggplant, okra, and kangkong.
3. When all is cooked, pour the tamarind juice. Boil, simmer for minutes. Serve.

ALIGUE ( TABA NG TALANGKA )

These very small crabs are common during rainy season. Squeezing out fats patiently from its shell is a delicacy that is so luscious and flavorful.

INGREDIENTS:
Crab fat
Garlic
Salt
Calamansi juice
Cooking oil
Water

DIRECTIONS:
1. Squeeze out the small crab to get its fat.
2. Sauté the crab fat in garlic.
3. Add salt and calamansi juice.
4. Simmer until cooked.
